Linksys, a renowned WiFi solutions provider, recently launched the Hydra Pro 6, a new WiFi 6 mesh router, at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. This latest dual-band mesh system offers fast, reliable, and secure connections at a more affordable price, making it a great choice for small businesses and remote workers who need dependable WiFi.

The Hydra Pro 6 is part of Linksys’ latest product suite, designed to take streaming to the next level. It’s easy to set up and comes with advanced security features, so users won’t have to worry about dropped video chats or insecure connections anymore.

Here’s what you can expect from the Hydra Pro 6:

  • It can handle 30 or more devices (per node) across a 2700 square foot area.
  • It offers wireless speeds up to 5.4 Gbps.
  • It’s powered by the Qualcomm® Immersive Home platform.
  • It can send and receive multiple streams of data simultaneously, offering up to four times the WiFi capacity.
  • It features six-stream WiFi with speeds up to 574 + 4804 Mbps for ultra-fast wireless speeds.

The Hydra Pro 6 also offers room for expansion. Its intelligent mesh technology provides whole home or office mesh WiFi coverage that can be easily expanded by adding nodes. For small offices and home offices, the Hydra Pro 6 allows users to manage and prioritize devices using the WiFi services through the free Linksys app.

When it comes to security, the device comes with WPA3/WPA2-Personal encryption and SPI firewall, automatic security updates, parental controls, and a separate guest network.

The Linksys Hydra Pro 6 is currently available in the U.S. for $299 on Linksys.com and will gradually roll out at major retailers across the globe.

Offering free WiFi to customers can be a great way to encourage them to patronize your business. Customers tend to stay longer in establishments where they have access to WiFi services or WiFi calling services. This is especially true if your WiFi offers extra bandwidth for applications that require a constant internet connection, like Google Drive, Dropbox, or One Drive. Not only does this encourage customers to stay longer and make purchases, but it also boosts your customer satisfaction efforts.

On the back end, having WiFi available for the business can help drive productivity and collaboration in the workplace. With WiFi available in the workplace, you don’t have to worry about investing in cables linking terminals or setting up complicated routers across the office, thus reducing clutter in the workplace.
